In response to the unprecedented interest from veterans, Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing – Denver is adding 30 fly tying class to its 2013 schedule.
The new schedule does not replace or conflict with existing fly tying classes at the VA’s Clermont (Denver) or Jewell Clinic (Aurora) sites.
Each three-hour class, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM, will be held at the Gander Mountain store, 14000 E. Jewell Ave., Aurora, CO 80012.
Last year’s one-day fly fishing outings to Lake Lehow were so popular with veterans
and volunteers that Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing – Denver has doubled the number of events for 2013. All veterans and volunteers are welcome to attend.
With the cooperation of Colorado Parks and Wildlife, outings will be held on:
April 20 (Saturday) Family Day (7:30 AM to 2:00 PM,)
May 14 (Tuesday),
June 13 (Thursday),
July 20 (Saturday) Entomology Day,
August 15 (Thursday),
September 18 (Wednesday), and
October 26 (Saturday) Family Day.
